Day Aggregates Golf Day

Every year, Day Aggregates hosts an annual golf day, designed to raise money for our chosen charities. The latest event took place at Sutton Green Golf Club in Surrey.

The day was made up of around 100 participants, with both employees and customers ready for a day of golfing. The golf club allowed us to have a live scoring leader board throughout the day which helped us keep the competitive spirit alive throughout the event.

Following the golf, there was a delicious three course dinner and prize giving. Day Aggregates is proud to have raised £10,000 throughout the day by pledging money against points scored by our guests from the industry.

Jonathan Day, Merchant Sales Director at Day Aggregates, said “It was a fantastic day’s golf with our customers and suppliers. Thank you to everyone who helped us raise such an incredible amount for such worthy charities by playing so well!”

The total raised at the event will be split between our four charities which were nominated by members of staff. The charities are:

• Guide Dogs – providing support to blind and partially sighted people across the UK through the provision of guide dogs.
• Minstead Trust – supporting people with learning disabilities and autism in Hampshire, Portsmouth, Wiltshire and the New Forest
• NACCC – providing safe spaces where children can meet up with their parents whom they don’t live with
• Ealing Food Bank – giving support to people in the Ealing area through the provision of nutritionally balanced emergency food
