Day Aggregates supplied Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Light Railway with bagged 28mm Clean Granite. They required the material to establish a track bed due to the land surrounding the track consisting of a mixture of marsh, silt, and clay. This was part of the annual maintenance carried out during winter. The track itself is approximately 13 miles long covering 7 stations.
