Team Day Triumphs Again
The notorious ‘Team Day’ faced the track again at the London Velodrome for the annual cycling competition against Grundons and Bretts. This event is now in its fifth year – it’s a great opportunity to get together with our peers for some healthy competition!
At first we wondered if we were at a slight disadvantage after losing our ‘Secret Weapon’ from last year. This was Tom Longland, who came as our ringer (or do we mean ‘guest’) while he was at AI, however he is now employed by Bretts. Quite an underhand piece of recruitment if you ask us!
Despite the unlikely physiques in the photos from the event, ‘Team Day’ triumphed again, winning the event for the fourth year in succession!
A special congratulations must be awarded to Steve Gardner (Lydd) for winning the Flying Lap, to Antony Mansi (from bagging) who achieved a top 3 place and to James Day for narrowly beating his little brother. In summary, the whole team did fantastically well!
Bring on next year!
