Key responsibilities:
- The completion of daily vehicle checks and correct defect reporting, to ensure we always remain legal and compliant
- Good understanding and knowledge of Tachograph rules and regulations
- Ensuring safe and timely deliveries to our customers
- Be a good ambassador for the Company both on the road and on site
- This role will require extensive travel to multiple company locations for which a Company van will be provided.
Person specification and required skills:
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Hold C+E Licence
- Must have minimum 2 years HGV driving experience, ideally including artic tipping
- Confidence to operate as a knowledgeable member of staff, mentoring drivers new to the role
- Reliable, able to prioritise workload
- Have methodical approach
- A professional, positive and flexible attitude at all times
- This role requires the use of a tablet to complete daily walk round submissions and other associated software to complete deliveries.
Working hours/times: 10 hours per day, between the hours of 0600-1800 Monday to Friday, 0600-1200 alternate Saturdays.
